Schedule Virtual Student Appointments
Make an appointment in 3 steps. Step 1: Select a staff member. Step 2: Select an available date. Step 3: Select an available timeslot.
Virtual appointments are held via Zoom.
You can choose either a Research Help Appointment or a Citation Help Appointment.
Research Help includes:
- Helping students develop and/or refine a research topic or research question
- Assisting students with brainstorming search terms to use in library databases
- Demonstrating how to conduct a library search and filter through results
- Helping students decide which library and web resources to utilize for their research
Citation Help includes:
- Helping students create and edit their citations (in-text citations and reference/works cited pages)
- Reviewing citation style requirements (MLA, APA, Chicago, etc.)
- Assisting students with citation formatting
- Citation Help does NOT include reviewing or proofreading research papers. If you need a writing tutor to help with your paper, please visit the EGCC Tutoring website.
PLEASE NOTE: If you do not show up to your appointment within 15 minutes of your scheduled time, the librarian will consider your appointment cancelled and you must reschedule.
